Diablotek DA Series 400-Watt ATX Power Supply PSDA400 Review
I have a older Hp desktop A807w with upgraded graphic card (nothing fancy) that has served my kids well for playing sims and homework and such for years. The stock power supply did the blinking led light thing after a power failure. Not sure if it was the power supply or the board but took a chance. After much debate I thought it was worth to keep this kitchen PC running a little longer. I was totally confused as to what would fit a stock HP box. I did not want to pay + for a direct replacement and felt that I needed the upgrade from a stock 250 w to the 400 w to work best with my video card. This unit works GREAT! Didn't fit perfect but good enough for .00 ( has about a 1/16 gap ) but bolted right up. Reviews say it is noisy. I find it just a little more noisy than stock but like the idea of 2 fans for .00. Not silent like my Mac or stock Dell but fine for a kitchen PC. I don't call it loud by any means ( video card fan is much louder) but I always have the TV , Radio HVAC or something going on so Its fine for me! Build quality is light weight, thin metal case, small gage wires China stuff but " it works great for .00!
