Cooler Master RR-B10-212P-G1 Hyper 212 Plus 775/1156/1366/AMD/AM2/AM3 Universal Direct Contact Heat-Pipe 120mm Fan CPU Cooler Review
Just received my Hyper 212 plus, and man it is ridiculously huge. I will write again an possibly post photos. High rating form Toms HW. With all that aluminum the only thing to worry about is if it will fit in your case!
10-24-10: just installed my Hyper 212:
-Installation: not too bad, you must remove the motherboard if you don't have access to the back while it is mounted in the case. The bracket system is well made, the instructions are bad.
-I have an AMD Phenom Quad core 9750 Agena on an ASUS M3A78 pro motherboard mounted in a giant Thermaltake full tower case(outside width of case 8"). The top of the cooler is about 1/2" form the inside of the case; check your dimensions before you buy this unit.
-It does not block the memory on my board.
-Cooler is very quiet.
-Temp at idle is 100deg F wo/over-clocking.
-A plus, it is probably cooling off the memory as well.
-Overall this is very worth it for , this much aluminum should cot more.
