NEW Laptop AC Adapter+Power Cord for Apple MacBook 13.3inch MA472LL/A MB063LL/A MAC A1184 Review

I bought this cord in June - went on vacation and realized that I had left Apple power cord at home. I just couldn't see paying some for the genuine Apple product. So, I ordered this one.

Over all, I've been pretty happy. Mine looks just like the photograph at the top of the page. So, compared to Apple's - not nearly as elegant looking. Elegant is nice, but I'm unwilling to pay another for it.

My biggest complaints are two. The most frequent problem is that the connection is just not quite right, so it has to be adjusted - which is not a huge problem - usually just detaching it from computer and re-attaching it - sometimes several times. And less frequent problem is that the magnetism is not really strong. So, it sometimes comes unplugged which can be a bigger deal if I don't realize what happened right away. Neither problem is a big problem, just things to be aware of.

I keep this power cord in my laptop backpack - that way I don't have to worry about if I'll have it or not. And if I someday leave the cord somewhere, I've lost some , not . (I'm not a total scatter-brain, but I can be . . . ummm . . . absent-minded.)

Is this as good as the Apple power cord? No, it definitely isn't. However, it is working fine for me and at a savings of - it saves me the hassle of having only one cord for a laptop that I haul around a lot. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could - I just don't think it is good enough for 5, but considering the price, it is a good deal.
